The 'Curved Modified Navigator' by HAZEBUSTER^® has a ground and polished glass lens that provides the most visual clarity possible in a sunglass material.

These glasses include an anti-reflective coating on the rear of the lens--a real plus when you are on a flight with the sun at your back. In order to preserve the anti-reflective coating, we recommend rinsing the lenses before wiping them clean.

Another big benefit of a glass lens is scratch resistance. If you are like most pilots and clean your sunglasses on your shirt tail or tie, this lens is for you. Both acrylic and polycarbonate lenses, even with a scratch-resistant hard-coat, will develop thousands of micro-abrasions over time when they are cleaned without a proper wetting solution. Ground and polished glass lenses are a bit more expensive than other materials, but their useful life is exceptional.

The nose pads are adjustable, so they can be set in the most comfortable position. The frames are constructed with nickel silver and have spring-hinged temples for a firm, comfortable fit.
